Who I Am
I am a teacher librarian, curriculum developer, reader, technology and curriculum integrator. My love of people, reading and technology work together in these roles to produce authentic, innovative learning experiences in both classroom and library spaces. I love traveling and new experiences including finding new foods to taste and new audiences to share baking and books with.

What I Do As a Teacher Librarian
My two main goals as an Elementary Librarian are to create readers and information seekers. Using Understanding By Design as a framework for curriculum planning allows me to address both of these goals. In addition, creating a welcoming and warm environment in the library is essential. Through working not only with students, but families and teachers as well, the library becomes a center for engagement and learning.
